Scientific Initiation projects

Scientific Initiation means the development of the student researcher, in a work plan, which contains the prediction of the research activities and scientific analysis that will be developed by the student, within a Research Project of a professor of the University, approved by the Board of Research and Graduate Studies, generally guided by a teacher. May only participate in the scientific initiation program the students that are regularly enrolled in undergraduate courses of the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, excluding those who have already graduated.

 

Goals of the Scientific Initiation program:

to encourage and generate interest in scientific and technological research;

to provide conditions for the effective development of academic potential, focusing in the scientific production; and

provide the student with knowledge on scientific methodology so he or she can develop research activities.
